Director of Tembele Eco-Services, Joe Grosel has more than 25 years’ experience in the wildlife management field. Before establishing the Tembele Collection, Joe gained valuable expertise as a conservancy manager, researcher and ecologist working in various state departments including the South African National Parks (Kruger) along with, Provincial and Local Government conservation authorities.
He has established and managed large conservation areas and private nature reserves for close on 20 years. Joe’s post graduate qualifications lie in the field of Wildlife Management and Zoology. He has conducted over 160 ecological, rangeland management and biodiversity surveys across southern Africa over the past 20 years.
In terms of ecological and environmental consultancy services Joe is registered as a natural science practitioner through the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professionals (SACBASP) and has conducted well over 100 studies within South Africa, Mozambique and Botswana.

Environmental Management Consulting
Key services offered include the conducting of ecological baseline studies, impact assessments and the compiling of environmental management plans for various statutory applications under the National Environmental Management Act (Act No. 107 of 1998) ("NEMA").
